Eligibility

TrueBill is intended for use by adults comparing household electricity plans. You must be at least 18 years old to use this site. By using TrueBill, you represent that you are at least 18 years of age and have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms.

Use of the Site

TrueBill provides electricity plan comparison tools, estimated cost calculations, links to plan documents, and informational content for personal, non-commercial use.

You agree not to misuse the site, interfere with its operation, or attempt to access systems or data not intended for public use.

General Prohibitions

You agree not to use the site to:

• Violate any applicable law or regulation
• Access or attempt to access non-public areas of the site or its systems

TrueBill reserves the right to restrict or terminate access to the site for violations of these prohibitions.

All content on this site—including text, graphics, logos, icons, images, data compilations, software, comparison tools, and the selection and arrangement thereof—is the property of TrueBill or its licensors and is protected by copyright and other applicable intellectual property laws.

The "real rate" calculation methodology, pricing algorithms, comparison tools, and underlying data structures are proprietary to TrueBill. You may not copy, reproduce, modify, distribute, display, or create derivative works from any content on this site without prior written permission.

Electricity Facts Labels, provider plan documents, provider names, provider logos, and other third-party materials remain the property of their respective owners.

You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to access and use the site for personal, non-commercial purposes only.

No Utility, Provider, Broker, or Agency Relationship

TrueBill is not an electricity provider, retail electric provider, utility company, broker, agent, affiliate, reseller, or representative of any retail electric provider.

TrueBill does not sell electricity, enroll customers, manage utility accounts, submit applications to providers, negotiate rates on your behalf, or provide energy services.

Any enrollment, contract, service agreement, account setup, payment, deposit, or customer relationship is solely between you and the retail electric provider.

No Government or PowerToChoose Affiliation

TrueBill is an independent electricity plan comparison tool. TrueBill is not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, or operated by PowerToChoose.org, the Public Utility Commission of Texas, the State of Texas, or any listed retail electric provider unless specifically stated.

References to PowerToChoose.org, the Public Utility Commission of Texas, retail electric providers, Electricity Facts Labels, or public plan documents are for informational, comparison, source-identification, or user-education purposes only.

Information Accuracy

TrueBill strives to present accurate and useful information based on publicly available plan documents, Electricity Facts Labels, provider information, and other electricity plan data sources. However, plan terms, prices, fees, credits, charges, incentives, contract terms, and availability may change without notice.

TrueBill does not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, current status, or availability of any plan information displayed on the site. TrueBill is not responsible for discrepancies between information displayed on TrueBill and information shown by a provider, in an Electricity Facts Label, in a contract, or on a bill.

Cost estimates, comparisons, bill projections, and "real rate" calculations are provided for informational and comparison purposes only.

Actual electricity bills may vary due to factors including, but not limited to:

• Taxes, regulatory fees, or utility delivery charges
