Billing, Account, or Service Questions
If you have already enrolled with an electricity provider, please contact that provider directly for questions about:
- Your electric bill
- Account balance
- Payments
- Service start date
- Cancellation
- Renewal offers
- Early termination fees
- Account-specific disputes
TrueBill Energy does not have access to your provider account, billing records, meter information, service status, or enrollment details.
Power Outages or Electrical Emergencies
For power outages, downed power lines, meter issues, or electrical emergencies, contact your local utility company (also called your Transmission and Distribution Utility). Your utility (not TrueBill Energy) handles poles, wires, meters, and outage restoration.
Common Texas utilities include:
- Oncor
- CenterPoint Energy
- AEP Texas
- Texas-New Mexico Power
If there is an immediate safety issue, such as a downed power line, call your utility or emergency services right away.
Provider Complaints
If your issue is with your electricity provider, contact the provider first and give them a chance to review the issue.
If the issue is not resolved, you may contact the Public Utility Commission of Texas.
